Why I Blog

I have been thinking about this, especially as I have gone in and out of hiatus.
Here are some reasons that I think are real.
1. It is a creative outlet. I love the format, the mix of pictures and text. It is a fast easy way to express myself in a pleasing format.
2. I like keeping in touch with my friends and giving other a glimpse of my life.
3. It becomes a record, (though limited) of our family life and is a muse to get me to write in more detail than I have otherwise been able to in my private journals.
4. I like hearing comments, thoughts, opinions and encouragment from my cyber friends.
Ok, and some things I don't want to come from blogging:
1. A feeling of responsibility, competitiveness or comparing.
2. Pride.
Wow, I guess that was a short list!
That felt good.
Have a wonderful day!
God Bless,
Cindy

I like your reasons - and non reasons, too. I also don't want blogging to bear a sense of responsibilty but would prefer to blog on and off, as I have time. No worries!
I also like your reasons; it's probably a good sign that there were twice as many things you did want it to be as things you didn't!
Although I must admit, I find it hard to achieve a balance between indifference and feeling like I MUST do things in the "right" amounts as scheduled.
And I'm glad you're blogging again. I feel like it's a way to stay in touch with you.
