Three Givings

Tonight at Mass, our pastor gave a homily about our Good Shepherd.

In it, he talked about love. Love, he said is really three kinds of giving.

Self Giving.

Forgiving.

Thanksgiving.

As he spoke, I realized how all three are intertwined in this life we are living with our families, raising our dc and knowing ourselves and God. Especially as we homeschool and discern our path, these three givings are woven into our daily lives. If any are lacking, we are out of balance.

As usual his message was simple and true. Also, if you could add our priests to your intentions, they are going through a transition as the Jesuits are having to pull out of parish duty. They will be re-assigned and we will be getting a new priest.

Please pray for them and all vocations.
