Celebration lunch after Little G's baptism with our collected families

We have just finished a lovely Chinese dinner with all the kids, G's grandparents and some wonderful conversations. Everyone is sated, happy and G is sleeping soundly in her mom's arms.

G's big brother, 5 year old N, is visiting everyone at the table telling the fortune he got in his fortune cookie. They have a fun game in their family of changing words to make the fortune read what you want it to. A nice way to also debunk the value put on fortunes, etc.. imo.


After N told us his message, his mom reads him the slip from her cookie.

It says:
Happiness comes from the little things in life.

N looks at sleeping Baby G and nods.

"Yes," he says earnetly, "Happiness comes in little things, like G who we just baptised."
