Awesooomme Duude! Snowboarding!

Oh, it has been fun watching the free-wheeling snowboard action at the 2006 Winter Olympics! I loved it when Shaun White made his wild half pipe run and then, pulled off his helmet... and out came all this wild hair! Whee....!! And, when interviewed, it was like, wow, man.. I just did what I thought the judges would like to see.. like awesome, dude....

And I'm sure it was very reigned in compared to what he must do when he is out of the camera's sight on the slopes or skateboard runs.

"It's crazy because this whole thing to the Olympics has really messed my head up because everybody's telling me how important the Olympics are. And I was like, 'whatever, just do well and go to the Olympics.' Just that having that kind of mellow attitude made me land everything. It was really soothing. I just can't wait for the Olympics now. It's been an awesome season.”

I just think it is exciting to see this passion taken up to a level that it became an Olympic sport... Wondered what the Greeks would have thought of it?
