It's All Relative

I have been going through boxes of pictures the last few days to try and get some order to them and create some family albums

Not only have I found pictures of my boys when they were young, but of me... from long ago.

I showed my 12yo a picture of me at age 17.

He said,

"Mom, you look just the same!"

I sat up a bit straighter and pulled my stomach in. Maybe I'm not really showing my age so much as I thought. With a slight toss of my head, I replied, "Really?"

"Yes," he said casually, " just older."
