Last Dog Day Afternoon of the 2005

Well, I am glad my new blog still has dogs in its title, as it makes for some fun themes. Above is a picture of dogs playing that rather summed up our day.

I hear occasional laughter from the game room upstairs as creativity is abounding... audio tapes being made, Star Wars music blasting and Christmas gifts still being explored. Dh is alternating working in the yard and reading. The breaks are getting longer than the sessions with the pine needles... Soon the boys will be summoned out to bag up the leaves and needles, but now are blissfully in the moment, in their world. An overall lazy Saturday in progress.

Boomer the infamous lazy dachshund pictured in the first entry is loyally at my side as I create this new blog and entries. Ralphie, the infamous young dachshund is surely somewhere getting in trouble.

We leave this new year anticipating great things for 2006. God is good and will guide us through all things, and we are hopeful and always looking ahead. We are thankful for all our family and friends, both IRL and online.
